This workshop is designed to provide teachers and educators a working knowledge of how an individual with autism thinks, the principles behind why children with autism respond the way they do, and the perspective needed in the classroom to work with this unique population of individuals effectively, increase the likelihood of their success, while making the classroom experience better for yourself, the child with autism, and all of his/her classmates.
This presentation is experiential and fun as well as educational. It will provide the following insights:
The Perspective that Works: Introduction to Autism in the Classroom

You will leave the training with specific tools and understanding that will support you in creating a more unified classroom by making adjustments that can benefit all students rather than creating two separate teaching methods.
