Administrators are required to complete one administrator academy each fiscal year. ROE SchoolWorks offers many Academies throughout the school year to accommodate the educators in our area. We pride ourselves in ensuring that our Academies are relevant and, as an Administrator, you walk away with take aways that you can implement immediately into your day.

ROE SchoolWorks wants to clarify the process for obtaining Administrator Academic credit from any AA provider.

  1. Register for an AA with the provider.
  2. Sign-in and provide IEIN upon arrival at event.
  3. Complete dissemination application assignment
  4. The AA host/provider has 60 days to close an AA, but typically they are 'closed' in ISBE's system immediately following the receipt of all dissemination assignments.
  5. Watch ELIS account for event evaluation
    1. This is posted by ISBE. The AA host/provider is NOT responsible for posting the evaluation, nor does ISBE provide a timeline as to when this occurs.
  6. Complete the AA evaluation in your ELIS account.
  7. ISBE posts the AA credit. Again, the AA host/provider is NOT responsible for this and ISBE does not provide a timeline as to when this will be posted.

We can assist any educator through the ROEs' licensure departments, but the ROEs do NOT have the ability to make changes in ELIS. If you notice an error with your ELIS account, or with professional development, contact the ROE. We will submit your concern to the appropriate people at ISBE.
