Registration
Workshops are open to all regularly employed teachers and administrators.
Substitute teachers / teacher aides are welcome when space is available.
To register for any workshop, please
fill out the registration form completely and
mail or fax with your check or money order to ROE SchoolWorks, 200 S. Fredrick
St., Rantoul, IL 61866 Fax 217-893-0024.
To ensure a place in the workshop of your choice, please fax or mail a
copy of your registration to ROE SchoolWorks at the time you process your
registration through your school. If a check is not received, an invoice
will be mailed. All persons registered will be charged the registration
fee unless 48 hours notice is provided or if the workshop is cancelled.
Make your check payable to ROE
SchoolWorks. Please include home information for confirmation purposes.
Confirmation will be sent upon receipt of your registration. We cannot
accept registrations by telephone. Your cancelled check is your receipt.
RESPRO Districts/Schools
Workshops will be offered to schools participating in the ROE SchoolWorks
RESPRO Project at a reduced daily registration
fee. A list of RESPRO districts/schools can be found here.
Individual Needs
We are committed to encouraging participation by all people. Please indicate
if you have any individual needs (dietary, accessibility, etc.) for which
we may make advance arrangements.
Workshop Starting Time
The first time listed for each workshop is the time the workshop will
begin. Registration will be the half hour before the starting time. All
workshops include materials and lunch unless otherwise stated.
Workshop
Cancellations
We will cancel any workshop that has insufficient
enrollment. Workshop enrollment will be reviewed two weeks prior to
workshop date. All workshop cancellations will be listed on our website.
Refunds
Refunds will be issued only to participants who call our office at 217-893-4921
or 217-443-4086 forty eight hours before the starting date of the workshop
or if the workshop is cancelled. ROE SchoolWorks
reserves the right to deny all refund requests.
Winter Weather
Workshops will be cancelled if the public schools in the city where the
workshop is located are cancelled due to bad weather. If you have a
question about whether a workshop is cancelled, a recorded message will be
accessible by calling 217-893-4921.
CPDUs
After each workshop you will receive an Evidence of Completion form which
indicates the number of hours that can be translated into Continuing
Professional Development Units (CPDUs). This form may be submitted to your
Local Professional Development Committee.
Additional Workshops
If workshops are added during the year, information will be e-mail or
mailed to superintendents and principals, and will be posted on the home
page and/or calendar page this web site.
