Target Audience: District or Building administrative and teacher leaders who will guide the development of the district’s Teacher Evaluation Plan – Teacher Practice that complies with state requirements.

Expected Outcomes:

The first session of this in-depth evaluation planning 2-part module will provide the keys aspects for understanding and updating your Teacher Evaluation process to address the priorities of PERA 2010, SB 7, and evaluation best practice. By the end of the session, participants will:

• Connect to “Why” Teacher Evaluation is Important at Local, State, and National Levels

• Standardize the “What” is Critical in a Teacher Evaluation Process

• Differentiate “How” the Teacher Evaluation Process Assesses and Supports Quality

• Clarify “Who” has different Roles and Responsibilities in the Evaluation Process

• Plan Ahead to the Development of individual district’s Teacher Evaluation Process – Teacher Practice
